All not-for-profit organizations seeking to serve students and their families through CBE or CCSD schools must be pre-screened before they can apply to offer specific programs or services to a school.
Criteria to apply:
- Organization is a government or a registered not-for-profit organization
- Organization must have adequate Insurance, and will maintain coverage through the duration of the program
- Program must address an existing need of students and/or their families
- All fees are 100% waived upon request
- At least one on-site staff member must have a valid First Aid Certificate
- All program staff members and volunteers have completed a Police Information Check, including vulnerable sector search verification, and are cleared to work with children and youth

Once Organization Pre-Screen process is complete, submit one Program Pre-screening form for each program.

An Organization and its Program(s) that successfully pass the pre-screening process will be listed on the Organization Database. Only the organizations listed on the Organization Database will be permitted to book school space through the
next step.
Step 3: School Access
An agency can make a request to offer their programs and services to a specific school through the “School Request” section on the Access Form. Booking space
in a school requires completing one form per program per school.

Agencies can offer to co-design programs and services to meet the needs of a school population.
Deadlines
Applications to access free space in schools for an after-school program are welcome anytime. To ensure your applications are reviewed in a timely fashion, please follow these timelines for the 2023-2024 School Year.

School Access Form - Submit by beginning of May 2023
The not-for-profit organizations listed on the Organization Database below have completed a pre-screening process with CBE and CCSD, so schools can easily reach out to them for programs and services.
The organizations have all met the following parameters:
